Why He Founded The Link Lab
For years, Jo worked at the intersection of linked administrative data and public-health research — and kept encountering the same problem: the people most affected by data-driven decisions often had no way to understand, question or engage with them. The Link Lab CIC was founded to close that gap. It’s not about making data simpler. It’s about making it legible — to communities, to policymakers, to anyone who deserves to know how information about them is being used.
Data linkage is powerful. It’s also invisible to most people. The Link Lab exists to change that.
